Dela Rosa confident in Sara Duterte's endorsement

Reelectionist Senator Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa expressed confidence in Vice President Sara Duterte's endorsement of candidates allied with former President Rodrigo Duterte for the May 2025 national and local elections.

Dela Rosa, a candidate under PDP-Laban, believes that Vice President Duterte's support will significantly boost his chances of winning due to her high approval and trust ratings.

According to Pulse Asia's March 2025 survey, Vice President Duterte's approval rating increased from 52% to 59%, while her disapproval rating dropped from 26% to 16%. Her trust rating also rose from 53% in February to 61%.

Dela Rosa highlighted that among national leaders, Vice President Duterte has the highest trust rating and a substantial following, which could influence voter decisions.

Vice President Duterte had previously called for a bloc vote supporting candidates endorsed by her father, including Dela Rosa and other politicians and public figures.
