Lady Bulldogs beat FEU, improve to 9-1 in UAAP volleyball

National University's Lady Bulldogs bounced back from their five-set loss to the University of the Philippines with a hard-fought 25-22, 24-26, 26-24, 25-18 victory over Far Eastern University on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Alyssa Solomon led the Lady Bulldogs with an impressive performance of 30 points, while Bella Belen contributed 18 markers, 14 digs, and 13 receptions.

The team's coach, Sherwin Meneses, praised his players for responding to the challenge and regaining their winning form, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for upcoming games.

With this win, National University improved its record to 9-1, solidifying their position at the top of the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament, two games ahead of La Salle (6-3).

In a pivotal fourth set, NU unleashed a 10-1 run capped by Solomon's block, securing the win and regaining confidence after the loss to UP.
