De La Salle women's volleyball team extends winning streak to 16

De La Salle University's women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to 16 games with a decisive victory over archrival Ateneo De Manila University on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Lady Spikers will face the winless University of the East in their next match, aiming to secure the second seed and strengthen their bid for a twice-to-beat incentive as they have four games remaining in the elimination round.

Head coach Ramil de Jesus emphasized that maintaining the second position until the end of the regular season is crucial for securing the twice-to-beat advantage.

With similar records, De La Salle must overcome tough opponents such as University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University to solidify their standing.

UST, tied with FEU at third seed, will also face Ateneo in an effort to regain momentum after snapping a three-game losing streak.
