Karding damage to infrastructure hits P304M

Typhoon Karding caused P304 million worth of infrastructure damage across the Philippines as of October 2.

The majority of this damage occurred in Cagayan Valley at P280 million.

Agricultural losses reached P3.07 billion, affecting over 104,500 farmers and fisherfolk and damaging nearly 167,000 hectares of crops.

The death toll remained at 12 with five missing and 52 injured.

Over 913,893 individuals were affected by the typhoon, with 47,388 displaced.
