Hundreds of families remain at evacuation centers after Typhoon Karding

As of Tuesday, hundreds of families from San Mateo, Rizal, and San Ildefonso, Bulacan remained at evacuation centers due to Typhoon Karding.

The NDRRMC reported that 20,380 families or 78,907 individuals were preemptively evacuated across various regions in Luzon due to the typhoon.

By Monday, a total of 52,000 people had been displaced by Typhoon Karding, with five rescuers from Bulacan swept away by floodwaters.

As of Monday, 850 families or 3,097 individuals were affected by Typhoon Karding, with some preemptively evacuated and others taking shelter in evacuation centers.

In Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon, a total of 336 individuals or 97 families were preemptively evacuated due to the typhoon.
