PMA: Improve vaccine schedule to prevent crowding

The Philippine Medical Association (PMA) on Saturday called for improvements in the scheduling system of the national COVID-19 vaccination program to prevent overcrowding at inoculation sites.

PMA president Dr. Benito Atienza said during the Laging Handa briefing that more needs to be done to fix the timing of vaccinations to avoid long lines.

Atienza also emphasized the need for additional vaccinators, citing Quezon City where many vaccination sites lack healthcare workers to administer shots.
