Senators urge gov't to vaccinate 'the willing'

Senators Koko Pimentel and Sherwin Gatchalian have suggested that the government should start vaccinating those who are willing, citing high vaccine hesitancy among priority groups.

Pimentel noted that some individuals not on the priority list are eager to be vaccinated while others in the prioritized group do not want to get inoculated.

Gatchalian cited a Social Weather Stations survey showing only 32% of Filipinos are willing to get vaccinated and said the country will have around 21 million doses by June, enough to cover those who are willing based on the SWS survey.
