Duterte OKs PHP4K aid for families in Iloilo, CDO, Gingoog

President Duterte approved cash assistance for over one million families affected by ECQ in Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro City, and Gingoog City.

Each family will receive up to PHP4,000 from the DSWD's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation fund.

The DILG, DSWD, and DND signed Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2 series of 2021 providing guidelines for distribution.

Health Secretary Duque assured aid would be provided for residents affected by ECQ in Metro Manila starting August 6.

Palace spokesperson Harry Roque said guidelines for cash aid and public transportation in NCR during the ECQ period will soon be issued.
