Taguig distributes food packs ahead of ECQ

The Taguig City government began distributing food packs to residents ahead of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) starting Friday.

Each pack includes rice, canned goods, coffee, energy drinks, and instant noodles, sufficient for three to four days.

Mayor Lino Cayetano assured that both local and national government assistance would be distributed to Taguig residents during ECQ.

Cayetano also urged unvaccinated residents to register for free vaccination at the city's sites from August 6 to 20.
