NTF strengthens pandemic response against emerging variants

The National Task Force (NTF) against Covid-19 has strengthened its pandemic response strategies to prevent the spread of emerging coronavirus variants.

Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana, NTF chairperson, stated that a crisis action plan is in place to prepare for and prevent an increase in Delta variant cases.

The government will implement contingency operations to prepare for potential spikes in Covid-19 cases due to new variants.
