FEU wins women's title, UP clinches men's crown at UAAP Season 87

Far Eastern University and University of the Philippines won the women's and men's titles, respectively, at the UAAP Season 87 Collegiate Athletics Championships held in New Clark City, Tarlac.

FEU clinched their league-leading 25th women's championship with a total of 397.5 points, finishing first on the final day with 84 points, while UP secured their 21st men's title by finishing just four points ahead of La Salle with 195 points.

UST finished in second place overall with 291 points and won two gold medals on the final day: Jamela de Asis in shot put and Lyka Miravalles in 100-meter hurdles.

National University set a new UAAP record in the men's 4x400m relay but finished fourth overall, while FEU's Shane Ponce was named Rookie of the Year for women.
