FEU Lady Tamaraws secure fifth win, eye Final Four

Faida Bakanke, a rookie from Congo playing for Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws, continued her impressive performance as FEU secured their fifth consecutive victory in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday.

Bakanke scored 19 points with high efficiency and helped the team defeat the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in four sets.

Coach Manolo Refugia expressed optimism about FEU’s upcoming Final Four appearance, praising Bakanke for her strong second-round performance despite initial struggles.

The Lady Tamaraws are now focused on their next game against National University Lady Bulldogs on Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum, aiming to avenge a previous loss and secure the best record possible in the second round.

Bakanke remains determined to continue her strong play as FEU prepares for a challenging match against NU, with both teams eyeing a top spot in the Final Four.
