Ateneo beats UE in UAAP women's volleyball match

Ateneo de Manila University secured a victory over the University of the East in their UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball match held on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena, despite being out of contention for a Final 4 spot.

Roma Mae Doromal led Ateneo with 23 excellent receptions and digs, while Lyann De Guzman scored 25 points for her team; Casiey Dongallo topped UE with 27 points, including four blocks.

Ateneo's coach Sergio Veloso emphasized the importance of maintaining fighting spirit and focusing on positive aspects of play despite errors, as his players fought hard in a decisive victory.

Captain Roma Mae Doromal expressed pride in her teammates' performance and urged them to cherish every moment together for the Ateneo community, acknowledging Coach Veloso’s influence on her personal growth and leadership skills.
