DLSU women's volleyball team beats Adamson, stays tied for first

De La Salle University's women's volleyball team maintained its chances for the twice-to-beat incentive in the UAAP Final Four with a victory over Adamson University on Wednesday.

Despite playing without Season 85 MVP Angel Canino and key player Baby Jyne Soreño, DLSU recovered from a slow start to dominate AdU with a score of 17-25, 25-19, 25-11, 25-22.

Shevana Laput led the Lady Spikers with 24 points, while Thea Gagate added 12 points and Julia Coronel had 19 excellent sets.

With a 10-2 record, La Salle is now tied for first place with UST and NU in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament, improving their chances in the crucial Final Four positioning.

National University (NU) will play Adamson University on Saturday at Philsports Arena to maintain its top position and secure a playoff spot for the twice-to-beat incentive.

FEU's men's volleyball team aims to secure its top spot by defeating UP on Wednesday, while the women's team faces another important match against Ateneo de Manila University.
