FEU clinches Final Four spot in women's volleyball

FEU secured its place in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament with a shocking five-set victory over league-leading UST on Saturday, April 13.

Under rookie head coach Manolo Refugia, FEU ended their two-season absence from the postseason and clinched the Final Four spot after defeating UST in a rare game day at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Refugia expressed pride and fulfillment in leading his team to this achievement, noting that it was sweeter than expected given their previous struggles.

Senior spiker Jean Asis powered FEU in the deciding set, contributing significantly to the victory with 16 points, while rookie Faida Bakanke added 21 points.

Setter Tin Ubaldo guided the offense with 21 excellent sets throughout the match.

FEU now has three more elimination-round games remaining as they continue to build momentum towards their semifinal matches.
