FEU extends win streak to 10 with victory over UE in UAAP

Far Eastern University extended their winning streak to ten games by defeating the winless University of the East in a UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament match on Wednesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

The Lady Tamaraws improved their record to 6-3, moving into provisional second place as UST and La Salle remain tied for third with a 5-3 record ahead of their clash on Saturday.

Jazlyn Ellarina led FEU with a career-high 17 points, including 12 attacks, three aces, and two blocks, followed by Chen Tagaod and Gerz Patallo each contributing 15 points.

FEU head coach Tina Salak noted that despite UE's spirit, her team was able to make adjustments and secure the victory.

Despite UE's late push in the third set, FEU secured their win with scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-23.
