FEU clinches top spot in UAAP men's volleyball with 3-1 win over DLSU

Far Eastern University (FEU) secured a crucial victory over De La Salle University (DLSU), winning 3-1 to extend their winning streak to four games and clinch the top spot in the UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball tournament on Saturday, April 26.

The Tamaraws' triumph solidifies their position as leaders with a record of 13 wins against one loss, while DLSU falls to fourth place with a 9-5 record.

FEU head coach Eddieson Orcullo emphasized that the elimination round is now over and that they are preparing for the semifinals starting today.

Dryx Saavedra led FEU with 25 points, while Noel Kampton topped DLSU's scoring with 16 points.

Ateneo also secured a hard-fought victory over the University of the East (UE) in five sets to finish fifth in the standings, denying UE their first win of the season.
