Duterte criticizes Acosta over child vaccine opposition

President Rodrigo Duterte criticized Public Attorney's Office (PAO) chief Persida Acosta for opposing child vaccination against COVID-19.

Duterte said those who oppose vaccinating children, including Acosta, should not involve the children and leave them out of it if they do not want to get vaccinated themselves.

Acosta clarified that she had asked Duterte's permission last May to defer her own vaccination, which he granted.
