Over 26K food packs delivered to Samar typhoon victims

As of Wednesday, May 20, over 26,250 additional family food packs have been delivered to Typhoon Ambo victims in Samar provinces.

On Tuesday, May 19, the DSWD initially distributed 14,750 food packs between Eastern and Northern Samar.

Each pack contains rice, coffee, canned goods, and non-food items like kitchen and sleeping kits, sufficient for three to five days for a family of five.

The regional office has requested 40,000 FFPs in total, with 32,950 delivered so far and the remaining expected to arrive soon.
