DOH: Private firms can't use extra vaccines as boosters

The Department of Health (DOH) stated that private companies cannot use their extra COVID-19 vaccines as booster shots for employees unless they are part of senior citizens or immunocompromised groups.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire also said that families of healthcare workers will not yet receive booster shots, despite being part of the expanded priority group, because the emergency use authorization (EUA) only covers senior citizens, healthcare workers, and individuals with comorbidities.
