Concepcion pushes private use of procured vaccines as boosters

Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion is advocating for private sector use of procured vaccines as booster shots.

Concepcion has discussed this with Health Secretary Francisco Duque III and Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez Jr., who he believes are open to the idea.

He emphasized that companies have already purchased AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines, which can even be used for minors.

Additionally, Concepcion proposed making booster shots accessible to the general public and suggested setting up special lanes for priority groups like medical frontliners, elderly individuals, and those with comorbidity.
