Over 2M Filipinos get first COVID-19 dose; 500K fully vaccinated

As of May 11, over 2 million Filipinos have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, with more than 500,000 fully vaccinated.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje reported that out of the 1.5 million health workers prioritized for vaccination under category A1, only 74% have been inoculated so far.

The remaining 23% of health workers are yet to be vaccinated due to delays in vaccine distribution to regions outside NCR.
