DoH logs lower virus cases due to technical issues

The Department of Health (DoH) reported a lower than usual number of coronavirus cases on Wednesday due to technical issues.

On Wednesday, the total infections increased by 3,656 to 2.74 million and deaths rose to 40,977 after five more patients died.

Active cases stood at 67,061 with 77.9% mild, 6.8% asymptomatic, 4.6% severe, 8.69% moderate, and 2% critical.

The DoH stated that the low number of reported recoveries and deaths were due to technical issues and additional figures would be reflected in future reports.
