DOH: No need for Duque to step down during Ombudsman probe

Department of Health (DoH) Secretary Francisco T. Duque III will continue to lead the agency's efforts against COVID-19 despite calls for him to step down during Ombudsman's investigation.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario S. Vergeire stated there is no need for Duque to temporarily stop work, saying his presence is highly regarded by the workforce and should not be removed amid the health crisis.
