DLSU secures semifinal berth in UAAP men's volleyball

De La Salle University secured a crucial victory over Adamson University, defeating them 26-24, 25-17, 25-23 to clinch a semifinal berth in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament on Wednesday at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Vince Maglinao led DLSU with 11 points, while Noel Kampton contributed significantly with 12 markers and 13 excellent receptions.

The victory also tied La Salle's league standing with National University at 9-3 for second place, improving their chances of earning a twice-to-beat advantage in the next round.

With this win, DLSU will face Ateneo de Manila University on Sunday and University of Santo Tomas on April 27.

Meanwhile, Far Eastern University rallied past University of the East to assure itself of at least a playoff for a twice-to-beat bonus, improving its overall record to 11-1.
