DHSUD to aid Rolly-hit families with PHP5K-P10K

The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) announced plans to provide financial aid to families affected by Super Typhoon Rolly in Bicol and Calabarzon.

Residents with severely damaged homes will receive PHP10,000, while those with partially damaged homes will get PHP5,000.

According to DHSUD Secretary Eduardo Del Rosario, the department aims to distribute the funds by November 11 to address the immediate needs of victims.

Initial data shows around 79,000 houses were partially damaged and 30,384 were totally destroyed, though figures from Catanduanes are yet to be included.
