Filipinos abroad infected rise to 8,506

As of Wednesday, July 1, the number of Filipinos abroad infected with coronavirus grew to 8,506, including 32 new cases reported by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

The death toll increased to 554 after five additional deaths were recorded.

Recoveries rose to 5,131 following an increase of 30 recoveries.

Cases are spread across 60 countries with the Middle East/Africa region having the highest number of cases at 6,195 and fatalities at 287.
