Zamboanga City records 7th COVID death, 2 new cases

Zamboanga City recorded its seventh COVID-19 death on July 4, bringing the city's total cases to 222.

The deceased was a 69-year-old man from Suterville with underlying medical conditions.

Two new cases were also reported, both former inmates who underwent quarantine before reintegration into the community.

Additionally, two more recoveries were announced, increasing the number of recovered cases to 174.

Active cases stand at 41, with 23 admitted in Cabatangan, 10 in Lantaka, and eight at ZCMC.
