BARMM records 9 new COVID-19 cases, total at 113

As of Saturday, June 27, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) recorded nine new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 113.

Of these, six patients are from Lanao del Sur and three from Basilan.

The region currently has 60 active cases with 49 recoveries and four deaths.

As of June 24, BARMM's health minister Dr. Safrullah Dipatuan reported no local transmission of the virus within the region, attributing the rise in cases to returning residents through programs like Hatid Tulong.
