Covid-19 Patients in General Santos Remain Isolated While Recoveries Increase in Cotabato and South Cotabato

Two coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients in General Santos City remain under isolation after testing positive again on their second repeat PCR test.

The two patients, a male and female both aged 22 years old who arrived from Cebu on May 31, are recovering well and stable at the city’s dedicated Covid-19 Center.

In Cotabato City, three more patients have recovered from Covid-19; one is a woman who traveled to Manila and two police officers assigned with quarantine checkpoints.

Additionally, an 11-year-old girl in Cotabato City has also fully recovered after testing positive for the virus earlier.

Two more patients in South Cotabato province have recovered after over three weeks of isolation, bringing the total number of recoveries in Region 12 to 24 out of 49 confirmed cases.
