CSB women's team wins, extends five-year unbeaten streak to 43

College of St. Benilde secured a victory over San Sebastian on Thursday in the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball tournament, maintaining their unbeaten streak for five years.

Wielyn Estoque led the team with 15 points, while Clydel Mare Catarig and Zam Nolasco contributed 12 and 11 hits respectively.

This win marks CSB's third consecutive victory and 43rd overall since the pandemic-shortened season in 2020.

Coaches Jerry Yee of CSB and Roger Gorayeb of San Sebastian turned down head coaching positions due to an NCAA rule prohibiting coaches who also work professionally from holding such roles.

Jose Rizal University claimed its first win against San Beda, winning the match with scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-22.
