CSB women's volleyball team beats San Beda 3-2, secures fourth win in five games

College of St. Benilde showed resilience and determination as they secured a hard-fought victory over San Beda in the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball on Thursday at the Arellano University Gym.

Despite trailing in the fourth set, CSB managed to come back strongly in the deciding fifth set with a score of 15-12, displaying incredible grit and sealing their fourth win in five outings.

The win was crucial for CSB after suffering their first loss in five years against Letran Lady Knights last week, which ended their impressive 43-game winning streak.

Zam Nolasco led her team with 22 points, while Wielyn Estoque contributed significantly off the bench with 18 hits, and Clydel Mae Catarig and Mycah Go added 16 and 13 points respectively.

In men's volleyball, CSB also emerged victorious over San Beda with a tight score of 25-20, 14-25, 26-28, 25-22, and 19-17, maintaining their perfect record in the season.
