DOH: PH critical care utilization rate for Covid-19 drops

The country's critical care utilization rate for Covid-19 patients has decreased, indicating an improvement in the health system's capacity to respond to the pandemic.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire noted that the National Capital Region's critical care utilization dropped from 81% in August to 58% as of September 20.

Vergeire also reported improvements in Calabarzon, Cebu, and Bulacan, with Cebu seeing a significant decrease from 38% on September 2 to 35%.
