Philippines Reports Over 3,000 New Coronavirus Cases for 13th Consecutive Day

The Philippines reported 3,311 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, September 20, bringing the total number of infections to 286,743.

There were 55 additional deaths and 20,021 recoveries, raising the death toll to 4,984 and the recovery count to 229,865.

Active cases numbered at 51,894 with 86.6% being mild, 8.7% asymptomatic, 1.4% severe, and 3.3% critical.

Metro Manila remains the primary source of new cases, followed by Negros Occidental, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite.
