Creamline eyes AVC quarterfinals vs Nakhon Rachasima Qmin C

Creamline secured a strong start in the AVC Women's Champions League but faces tough odds against Thailand's Nakhon Rachasima Qmin C in the quarterfinals at Philsports Arena on Thursday, April 24.

Despite losing their PVL All-Filipino title earlier this month and falling to Kazakhstan’s Zhetysu VC, Creamline demonstrated resilience by winning over Al Naser Club before facing another challenge against Zhetysu VC.

Creamline's coach Sherwin Meneses praised the team's ability to respect opponents and adapt with new imports while captain Alyssa Valdez expressed hope for better chemistry in the quarterfinals.

The Cool Smashers are expected to field Russian reinforcements Anastasiya Kudryashova, Anastassiya Kolomoyets alongside mainstay Erica Staunton against Nakhon Rachasima Qmin C led by Anyse Smith and Evangelia Chantava.

Nakhon Rachasima Qmin C also features Thai superstar Onuma Sittirak while Creamline's Filipina hitters include Jema Galanza, Bernadette Pons, Jeannette Panaga and Alyssa Valdez.
