Petro Gazz wins first All-Filipino Conference title

Petro Gazz secured its first-ever Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference title on Saturday night at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Brook Van Sickle led the team with crucial hits, helping Petro Gazz overcome a 12-15 deficit in the fourth set to clinch the series victory and their historic championship.

This triumph marks Petro Gazz's third overall title but their first in the All-Filipino Conference, which they had previously sought after for years.

The victory avenges Petro Gazz's loss to Creamline two years ago when they fell short by one game.

Van Sickle was awarded the Most Valuable Player honor for her outstanding performance throughout the series.

In another match, Akari defeated Choco Mucho 25-15, 26-24, 26-24 to secure third place in the tournament.
