Creamline vs Galeries Tower, Cignal vs Nxled Chameleons in PVL All-Filipino

Creamline and Cignal face Galeries Tower Highrisers and Nxled Chameleons respectively on Thursday, February 27, in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at Philsports Arena.

The defending champion Cool Smashers take on Nxled Chameleons at 6:30 p.m., while Cignal plays against Galeries Tower Highrisers at 4 p.m.

Winners from these matches will advance to the quarterfinals, scheduled for March 15, while losers will compete in a round-robin match for two remaining spots.

Creamline and Cignal are favored but not underestimating their opponents; Nxled remains confident with players like Lycha Ebon and Chiara Permentilla leading the charge, while Galeries Tower seeks revenge led by Jho Maraguinot and Ysa Jimenez.

Cignal coach Shaq delos Santos acknowledges the team's limitations after losing Ces Molina and Riri Meneses mid-season but emphasizes maximizing each player’s skills to compensate for the losses.

Despite the challenges, Cignal relies on key players such as Roselyn Doria and Vanie Gandler, with rookie Ishie Lalongisip also stepping up in recent games.
