Pampanga town raffles cow to boost COVID-19 vaccination

To encourage vaccination against COVID-19, a town in Pampanga is holding monthly raffles where winners can receive a cow worth P30,000.

The initiative aims to increase vaccine confidence among residents and reach herd immunity.

San Luis, Pampanga's goal is to vaccinate 40,000 to 50,000 people in the A1 to A3 priority groups, but they only receive 300 to 700 doses weekly from the national government.

As of now, the town has vaccinated only 1,400 members of the priority group.
