While local government units are directed by the DILG to refrain from announcing specific vaccine brands in advance, individuals will be informed at vaccination sites and must sign an informed consent form.

Marikina and Navotas mayors expressed concerns that this directive could cause mistrust among residents, advocating for a deliberative process with informed consent.

Pasay City supports the DILG order, stating that waiting for preferred brands delays the immunization program and hinders herd immunity achievement.
