PNP: 346 cops infected with Covid-19, half recovered

As of Wednesday, 346 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel have tested positive for Covid-19 with a recovery rate of 50.86%, as 176 officers have recovered.

The death toll remains at four while 20 new cases were recorded on Wednesday.

A total of 148 patients are in quarantine facilities, two are hospitalized, and 16 are under home quarantine.

Since the start of the pandemic, PNP has implemented mass testing, contact tracing, and isolation protocols to manage infections.

The organization also developed guidelines adhering to minimum health standards and revised deployment schemes to ensure front-liners remain free from infection.
