Chery Tiggo secures PVL All-Filipino QF berth, beats Farm Fresh 3-1

Chery Tiggo secured the seventh quarterfinals berth in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, March 11.

Chery Tiggo defeated Farm Fresh with a score of 29-27, 15-25, 25-22, 25-21 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City, after surviving Farm Fresh's strong start.

Ara Galang and Shaya Adorador were standout performers for Chery Tiggo with 20 and 18 points respectively, leading their team to victory despite a tough second set. Adorador also finished off Farm Fresh with an off-the-block hit at match point.

Ces Robles contributed significantly with 13 points and 13 digs, while Alina Bicar provided excellent sets throughout the match.

Farm Fresh's Trisha Tubu scored 22 points but it was not enough as Chery Tiggo maintained their momentum to clinch a crucial win in this play-in tournament for the remaining quarterfinal spots. With the result, Farm Fresh's Thursday match against Nxled is now a no-bearing affair.

Chery Tiggo will face top-seeded Creamline in the quarterfinals.
