Duterte now willing to take COVID-19 vaccine in public

President Rodrigo Duterte has changed his stance and is now willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine publicly.

Duterte's decision comes after Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that the President will announce when he plans to get vaccinated, responding to public clamor for him to do so in order to boost confidence in vaccines.

Roque emphasized that Duterte wants all Filipinos to have confidence in getting vaccinated as it is seen as a solution to the pandemic.
