Cavite under community quarantine, curfew from 8pm to 5am

Cavite will be placed under a community quarantine starting Tuesday midnight to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with an 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew imposed.

Exemptions from the curfew include healthcare workers, local government employees, peace and order officers, night shift workers with valid IDs, and students on OJT who no longer need to report to their workplaces.

Malls will be closed during this period, but essential services like banks, groceries, supermarkets, pharmacies, pawn shops, hardware stores, public utility offices, bayad centers, and wet markets are allowed to remain open.

Additional restrictions include the closure of gaming parlours, computer gaming shops, wellness centers, cockpits arenas, public playgrounds, basketball courts, beaches, and public parks. Dine-in services in restaurants will be prohibited, with only take-home and delivery options available.
