Ayuda 2 distribution begins for NCR families

The distribution of 'Ayuda 2' supplemental aid began in Metro Manila on August 11, targeting low-income families affected by a second round of ECQ.

Government officials visited various cities including Parañaque, Manila, San Juan, and Caloocan to ensure an orderly process.

Manila expects to benefit 380,280 families through the aid distribution, which will be carried out face-to-face with strict health protocols.

In Parañaque City, a ceremonial distribution was held in Greenheights Village, attended by DSWD Secretary Rolando Bautista and DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya.

The cash assistance aims to support low-income households affected by the ECQ, with simultaneous distributions planned across all 17 local government units in Metro Manila.
