Philippines reports new COVID-19 Delta cases in Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Iloilo

Four new COVID-19 Delta variant cases have been reported in Cagayan de Oro City and Bacolod City.

In Cagayan de Oro, four female residents and one infant tested positive for the Delta variant; three women work at the same company.

The infant was brought to a neighboring city while the women were sent back to an isolation facility after being initially certified recovered.

In Bacolod, two children of a pregnant woman and a male neighbor have tested positive but will not be sequenced due to high CT values.

Iloilo City also reported two children aged 7 and 11 with samples sent for Delta variant testing.
