Bukidnon reverts to GCQ after lifting ECQ

Bukidnon reverted to 'general community quarantine' (GCQ) effective Monday, April 27.

Gov. Jose Maria Zubiri Jr. lifted the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) after it lapsed at midnight on Sunday.

The ECQ was initially imposed following confirmation of Bukidnon’s first COVID-19 case in a barangay official who attended a cockfight derby in Davao City.

Under GCQ, certain businesses are allowed to reopen with strict guidelines for social distancing and precautionary measures.

High-risk populations (ages 0 to 20 and 60 and up) are still restricted from going out, while mass gatherings and religious activities remain prohibited.
