Belen graduates with Psychology degree, celebrates Game 1 win

National University standout Bella Belen celebrated her recent graduation with a Psychology degree while also celebrating their Game 1 win over De La Salle University in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball finals.

Belen, aged 22, expressed her happiness about receiving her diploma and emphasized its significance to students, noting that no MVP award or championship could top this achievement. She is poised to be awarded her third MVP on Wednesday before Game 2.

She highlighted the challenges of balancing sports and academics, noting that being a student-athlete requires hard work and studying, and shared how her background in psychology enhances her leadership on the court.

Belen aims to inspire fellow student-athletes by showing that graduating is possible with effective time management and setting priorities, while also leading the Lady Bulldogs towards back-to-back championships. She remains focused on guiding NU to a consecutive title stints despite the tiring last few weeks of commitments.

With a diploma and multiple MVP awards in hand, Belen looks forward to concluding her decorated UAAP career with another championship title; they currently lead the best-of-three championship series 1-0.
