Bella Belen wins 3rd MVP, helps NU win title

National University's Bella Belen became the first player to win three Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in her division before ending her collegiate career, earning 96.226 statistical points, a league release announced Tuesday, May 13.

On Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena, Belen received her MVP award ahead of Game 2 of the Best-of-3 Finals between NU and De La Salle University, joining an elite group that includes Ateneo's Alyssa Valdez as the only three-time MVPs in the women's division.

Belen made a final promise to National University fans, assuring them she would not let the championship slip away from her team. The Lady Bulldogs delivered on their promise with another title victory over La Salle.

Shaina Nitura from Adamson University follows closely with 74.259 points and is set to receive Rookie of the Year honors, while Belen also earned her third Best Outside Spiker award alongside Angel Canino from De La Salle University.

Belen excels in multiple categories including service with 30 total aces and fifth place in digging (2.79 per set), demonstrating her two-way prowess throughout the year.
