Davao City administers over 238K COVID jabs, begins A4 drive

As of Thursday, July 1, Davao City has administered over 238,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, with 196,886 first doses and 41,350 second doses.

The city government urges priority groups such as health workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities to complete their vaccinations.

Davao City Health Office acting head Dr. Ashley Lopez praised the public's response to the vaccination drive, describing it as very good.

On Wednesday, Davao City began vaccinating the A4 priority group, which includes essential front-liners such as private sector employees and informal workers.

The city also held a 'Bakuna by the Sea' event with support from the Department of Tourism-11 for its stakeholders.
