Bacolod outlines measures to counter potential COVID surge

Bacolod City's Emergency Operations Center Task Force (EOC-TF) has outlined seven key measures to counter a potential surge of COVID-19 cases due to post-holiday transmission or the Omicron variant.

Measures include stricter border controls and requiring negative RT-PCR test results for inbound travelers from areas under Alert Level 3 or higher, regardless of vaccination status.

The city has also started master listing children aged 5 to 11 years old in preparation for their upcoming vaccination against COVID-19, pending approval from the Department of Health (DOH).
